There are a few options for getting your canoe to you:
- Pick up your boat at Blackfly World Headquarters, New Hampton NH.
It’s free, and we’ll let you know when your boat is ready to be picked up. If you choose this option, you can enter any US address for the shipping address.
- Event delivery
Blackfly attends several events though out the year, and we usually bring along a trailer of canoes. If there’s an upcoming event we can deliver boats to, there will be a shipping option for having us deliver your canoe. If you choose this option, you can enter any US address for the shipping address.
- Ship to the nearest freight terminal
Our most popular option. Whitewater canoes are shipped via Old Dominion Freight Line or FedEx Freight, and can be delivered to one of their many service centers. ODFL Terminal locations can be found here and FedEx Freight locations here. Generally, boats heading west of the Mississippi and orders for more than one boat will ship via Fedex Freight, and single boats going east of the Mississippi will ship via Old Dominion. If you choose this option, you can either enter the address for the terminal you’d like it delivered to, or we’ll figure out the nearest terminal and confirm with you before the canoe ships. Once the canoe arrives, pick it up from the terminal within 48 hours.
- Ship to a business address
We can ship to a commercial address for the same price as shipping to the nearest terminal. If you choose this option, please include the business name and the name of the person who knows why a canoe is going to randomly show up there.
- Residential delivery
Your whitewater canoe can be delivered to your door. You must be home to sign for it if choose this option.
- Shipping outside the US
We can do that too. Contact us for a custom shipping quote.
Our canoes are packaged carefully, but in the unlikely event that your boat is damaged in shipping, do not sign for it. Refuse the shipment, and contact us so we can submit the freight claim and get a new boat heading your way.
